Here's another hilarious story from ACG's funny animal Ha Ha Comics. "Those Bank Robber Blues" appeared in #59 from 1948.
I don't know the artist. GCD guesses Ken Hultgren. You laser beam-eyed art spotters out there tell me who did it.

Pappy, the artwork on this is gorgeous. I would love to have more of these books in my collection, but alas ....
It appears that Jack Bradbury may have drawn this story. It looks very similar to his style.

This Jack Bradbury story was done for an unpublished Hi-jinx issue, thus the appearance of the Hepcats characthers.
Jb has to be the most prolific funny animal guy ever.
