Where is my old good Pappy's format ? I don't like its new appearance.

Man, that was fun, Pappy. Love the splash and the cute nylon ending. Thanks for sharing this 2-parter!

Well, as the bottom panel of the twelfth page clearly shows, Novick was no Bil Keane.

pgooglep, sorry you're not happy with the new format. Every once in a while I have to change things or I lose interest; so would you rather I changed things occasionally or just abandoned the blog for lack of enthusiasm?

I'll be changing it again one of these days. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't, but at some point change is yet again a'gonna come.

Daniel, maybe Bil Keane saw this in 1946 and it stuck in his head.

Hey, Pap...as for the format change, I'm more interested in the comic book stories than the format, but I feel it's not as cluttered, if that makes any difference to you.

I don't read your blog every day, but catch up a week or two at a time. I'd really miss it if it was gone. Keep on doing what your doing and I'll stay a reader.

Format's fine by me, Pap.
Thanks again.

At the risk of beating this subject to death, I just got a look at what my blog looks like on a mobile device, so re-formatting and stripping it down a bit was a good thing. What isn't good is that I found those pages too small to read when enlarged, so I don't know if anyone will want to read it on their mobile devices, anyway. If you look at this blog on your phone or iPad or whatever, please let me know.

I have a 22" flat screen display on my home-based PC, so I see my pages in a large display, and prepare them for that. I really don't know what I could do about the mobile devices. Just shrug my shoulders, I guess. Technology is outstripping my ability to keep up. I don't own any mobile devices except for a cell phone which my wife gave me when she got a new one. It takes photos but I've never learned how to use that feature. Too old-fashioned, I guess. Tsk tsk.
