At that pint he had already take over Scorchy Smith, so I guess it will have to be an inventory story.Ger Apeldoornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633862833036214748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31723906.post-79824644395232530362009-06-23T06:42:08.407-07:002009-06-23T06:42:08.407-07:00Thanks, both of you, and Tamfos, I'm overwhelm...Thanks, both of you, and Tamfos, I'm overwhelmed by your comment. I thought I was just showing a bunch of goofy old comic books stories! I try to keep the postings mixed up so I don't bore anyone. It's a bonus that someone enjoys what I do.

I also appreciate George Tuska, who had a solid drawing style and like the best of the original comic book men could draw just about anything he was called on to draw: science fiction, western, horror, love, and even superheroes.Pappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01977289662431694607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31723906.post-78614277097904754142009-06-22T18:02:19.956-07:002009-06-22T18:02:19.956-07:00Incredibly goofy (and wonderfully so) story, but o...Incredibly goofy (and wonderfully so) story, but oh, that Tuska art! Was there anybody more underrated than George Tuska? Perhaps his 1970's Marvel work was not what it might have been, though it held a lot of charm for me, but his pre-code and earlier work is nothing short of gorgeous! The layout on the page where the Octeel is revealed is very compelling.

Thanks, Pappy. If I haven't said it before, I find your blog to be the best of its kind. So eclectic, so thoughtful, and engaging you in e-conversation is always so fun and informative.Tamfoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08007519945208611127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31723906.post-61465031799514431942009-06-22T05:02:00.228-07:002009-06-22T05:02:00.228-07:00Adorei.Adorei.Nanael Soubaimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13772288531983894858noreply@blogger.com
